- Primary Information, New York (www.primaryinformation.org). Primary Information was formed in 2006 by Miriam Katzeff and James Hoff to foster inter-generational dialogue through the publication of artists’ books and writings, with an emphasis on the conceptual practice begun in the mid sixties and the strategy of using publications as an extension of this practice. - Kunstverein, Amsterdam (www.kunstverein.nl) is a non-profit curatorial office that offers presentations, lectures, screenings and independent publishing. Its purpose is to create a critical pool of ideas which explores public-private relationships in the art world by reflecting on current art practices and alternative methods of presentation, hosting and exhibition making. - The contemporary culture index, the ccindex (www.ccindex.info), is an open-access multidisciplinary bibliographical database indexing international journals and periodicals. Its aim is to cover the growing need for specialized information not limited to any academic category nor to a geographical or linguistic area, especially concerning architecture, art, cinema, cultural studies, design, literature, music, philosophy, photography and social sciences. Aware that complete coverage is impossible, ccindex has opted for a rigorous selection based on research quality; important aims are to bring together materials that are seldom juxtaposed in order to favor new research approaches, and to index small and influential publications that are no longer published, especially those originating from artists or cultural producers rather than solely from conventional academic processes.
